The only thing wrong with these executions is they are taking too bloody long to carry out, when the sentence is given they should have one appeal which should be inside of 6 months and if they lose it they should be executed on the next anniversary of the victims death, poetic justice me thinks. Your judicial system in the USA needs a bloody big overhaul on the timing of these executions me thinks.

Here's the thing though you speak of destabilization in the United States. But the reality here is nothing in my life has been destabilized, I dont know anyone whose life has been destabilized nor do I know anyone who knows of anyone whose life has been destabilized because of Trump. I was born when John F. Kennedy was president and to the best of my recollection for the last 59 years of life. It's has never really mattered who the president was. Life went on. What recently changed is a pandemic has swept the globe causing sickness, death, and leaving a whole economies in ruin. And contrary to the popular belief of all the nancy boys looking for a daddy to fix it. This was not the fault of any one man nor can any one man fix it. To get rid of that itchy irritated feeling go change your pad you'll feel better.

I'm merely pointing out the nuttiness of obsessing over him (especially to the umpteethn degree) when yes, there are much more serious issues. "Steward, where is my dinner fork? This place setting is not right." "Ma'am, I will go to the kitchen and fetch one. I apologize, I was distracted by the sound of an iceberg ripping through the hull." |

Not because I have anything against the death penalty, I don't. There are plenty of crimes that are worth execution and reading the rap sheets of these latest ones it's obvious they certainly deserve a much harder exit than the government is conducting. But, I oppose shortening the appeals process because I doubt the governments ability to only execute the truly guilty. They have enormous power and they haven't always acted altruistically. You can set a wrongly convicted man free but you can't UN-execute him. A long appeals process gives the maximum opportunity for new evidence to be uncovered, for witnesses to come forward, for other perpetrators to be identified etc, and it almost guarantees that several fresh sets of eyes will take a look at the case so that injustices can be corrected before it's too late.

Sedition isn't politics, sedition is wanting to destroy the nation.

It's such a loaded term and always subject to the whims of who's in power.

Well, that share is yours. We foreigners would not need to care and would have ignored you already - if your country would not lay so heavily on the rest of the world and affect everybody else, whether they want it or not. You refuse to learn from historic examples in other countries, and that why you will once again live through them yourself.

Pretty much what I said when the suit was brought up. It's not Texas's business.
