I have another question to my American friends.

It has something to do with a tradition.

In the end of a Presidential era the outgoing President use to pardoned a few hundred or thousand inmates or changes their verdict.

Yesterday a Danish newspaper had an article where they wrote that Trump had pardoned criminals, diseased and friends.

This is what one could expect from Trump. pardoned his friends.
A friend wrote as a comment.

Now I wonder has Obama, Clinton, Bush Jr done the same..pardoned some friends/colleague in the end of their Presidential era ?

Yes I did and your answer was, if I remember correctly:

It's not unusual an exiting President pardoned criminals in prison/change their verdict.

I have looked through the list of people being pardoned by Obama, but I can't see if some of them should have been friends or related to Obama.
