The photo is not from the ship sinking, but sink it does at the end. But comparing it to one of those disaster movies.. no.

No, it was not "built". As mentioned before it is a fictional ship in a film (see post). I would have to google if this fictional ship was mentioned to be built by the "Nordseewerke" in the film, but not afaik.
