Well that tears it. I'm done with Filefront/Gamefront.

What a useless/pointless bunch of twunts. I wish I could do nasty things to them.

Well, for what it is worth... it appears that my GWX 3.0 files have re-appeared on GameFront. The links are available via the GWX website as usual.

If I ever have to re-upload them again... it won't be with GameFront. I'm fed up with their nonsense.

Have you ever seen FW200 during your patrols in mid Atlantic or west of Portugal? I don't seen FW200 ever anywhere!

According to this map, their range is much greater than in GWX!

Just Fw200 sunk 93 ships for 433,447 GRT, and damage 70 ships for
353,752 GRT! I don't need mention Empress of Britain!

This data don't include all ship attacked by planes from KG40 or Fliegerführer Atlantik!

So I wonder is there any mod who correct Luftwaffe campaign over Atlantik?

Thanks!

Anyone???

Ok, can anyone explain me how to change range of Fw200 base in GWX or tell me if there is some mod for realistic involvement of German planes in GWX?

I think the correct question for the game would be how many u-boats actually witnessed FW-200s sinking ships? Even if you increase the range of the plane, how likely are you to see one? It's a big ocean.

I guess not many.
But that is not my reason for correcting range and involvement of FW200, and other German maritime planes.

I read book "Fw200 Condor vs Atlantic Convoy 1941-43"... And there you can see dozen situation of attacking convoys by subs and planes. Of course, that is not 100% coordinate attacks, but both sides were in action.

U-37 located convoy HG 53 late on 8 Feb 1941. She commenced attacking and sank 3 ships over the next 2 days, and also called in Condor aircraft from 2/KG 40, which sank an additional 5 ships...

In some causes u-boats finished ship damaged by planes, and in other planes finished ships damaged by u-boats...

I just think, it will be more realistic to correct this things.

And you could be right. As for how to make that change, I don't know but someone must. I'm not sure if they can be made to attack. Other planes do though, especially stukas, so it may be possible as well.

Yes, Ju-87 were very brutal, especially in English channel and area west of it.

I don't mention success in Mediterranean...

Also its pretty much possible for U-boats to see Ju-88C-6 (heavy fighters version) which was in escort missions over Bay of Biscay.

Its little known about dog-fighting over Bay of Biscay. It was fierce fighting...

On one occasion (June 1. 1943.) they shot down over Biscay civilian DC-3killing all 17 on board, including several notable passengers, most prominent being actor Leslie Howard

So if anyone know how to correct this, let me give instructions or send me pm...

Bigboywooly has a guide he wrote that will help.
I'm not at home for about a week or I'd upload it.

Maybe Jimbuna could help you locate a copy?

The guide is in the Documentation folder of both Stock and GWX in English and German languages.
