I cannot get the V_200 patch to download. I get the download box and it searches for the file but it never finds it.
Getting file information x6 from 38.(long number) hope the info helps. EDIT: It seems to be a problem with Filefront, after about ten tries, it downloaded Last edited by kylesplanet; 12-23-07 at 06:01 PM. |

Curious goings on in 1944 off Southern Japan and a couple a questions re RSRD
Hi just a query and observation re RSRD - I was cruising off souther Japan when I happened upon a large blip on the radar, I snuk up and found an unescorted carier trundling about at about 5 knots.
Needless to say I did the business and sank him with about 10 torps. Question, in October 1944 did Japan have any large carriers left, and would they have been sitting off southern Japan just footling about? Next I finally managede to get myself one of them big five inch deck guns, but cant seem to get crew to man it when in port, there are simply no crew slots to assign crew to the gun And another one - While crusing between Japan and Korea, I got a radar warning re a plane closing in. As usual while he was miles away I went to perescope depth then down to about 150 feet for good measure, ran slow and thought to just footle along till night time. About three hours later I decided to go top side and continue on my way, at about 90 feet, all the guys in my watch compartment just died, with no apparent hull damage, then I got reports that both attack and observation scopes were destroyed as was the deck gun and AA guns, and the AA gun crews were dead also. Now there was no plane, no ship anywhere near me, I had the depth and all was perfectly nromal, is this a bug, I've also stated to notice a few other odd things like sound glitches and other stuff which seem to be happening more and more as 1944 progresses, could this be some sort of bug? Hope you might clear this up Regards R |

IRT to the above, the problem is a “stock” issue were in the Japs_Harbor_traffic.mis three is no one, but three DD tracks that have “generic aircraft carrier” list as the content of the track vice the correct content of “generic DD”. The problem has been corrected and will be in the next release of RSRDC. Quote:

Yay those mines are evil buggers. The other day I decided to take a peek at the minefields with the mission editor... I wish I hadn't. Many areas I had used as safe transit routes were literally full off minefields. Talk about ignorance being a bliss!
During the next patrol I was so paranoid about mines that I didn't submerge until it was dead obvious that I'd been spotted or would be spotted any moment. It wasn't really helpful either that the first patrol area was south of Bungo Suido and the second Korea Straits and Sea of Japan. Not many minefields in the... BOOOM! Good job modders and devs |

I would agree except there was no hull damage, just seems all my sailors came down with the dreaded plague and died

Hey all.
First let me say great work on the Mod Its very impressive but while cruising through the museum I happend to notice the "B" turret on the King George Battleship is missing. O.K. I know its a minor gripe but it just looks funky. :hmm:
Anybody else see this or know of a quick fix. It doesnt seem fair for our british friends to go into battle under armed. |

IRT the above problem 1. It is caused due to a confict between two nodes in guns.dat and guns_radars_02.dat 2. This problem has been present in RSRDC since Phase I v 100 3. KGV is used only once in RSRDC, Dec 41 as part of Force X. Currently have no plans to fix this problem. |

CTD
Lurker,
I'm getting a CTD when loading a saved patrol in late July '42 with USS Trigger in the Luzon Straits area (Calvan Island ?). This is the 2nd patrol area on this particular war patrol, having been ordered there from whatever the patrol area is in the Phillipean Sea (Pelieu shipping lanes ?). Mods are: ROW RFB for ROW RC1 RSRDC v340 RSRDC patch for V340 Foo's Hi-Res skins Thanks |
