File version is the same as the so-called Beta........ never mind, I'm going for a re-install with the "official" 12.0.0.49985 and see which mods can still be used.

These are the filesizes of the distributed packages...If you extracted the beta up to the installer level, files only have a difference of 4 kb
Still though, that is a difference, is it not? 4 kb is enough for lots of changes to text files.

Either way, who cares anymore? It's out!

Terrapin, while you are here, can you please remove my mod v2 multistation from UBRS (it's in your sh4 radio mods section)? I did not upload it there. Plus that is an old version with bugs that will cause CTD's.

Believe me, this file contains some last moment (small?) changes. I'd install this patch and remove the Beta 1.3.

You don't honestly believe that any UBI dev would let us wait for several days or longer when they had the finished product, do you?

yours
I didn't find any difference between the beta and the final ...I believe there's a lot of ('politically driven') cheating going on...
And again, you would be very, very wrong.

Someone please enlighten me:

Can I install this over 1.2 or do I have to uninstall/reinstall/patch (with this one only) ?

Well after what I read about the 1.1 to the 1.2 your better off taking it all off and then use the 1.3 and I will be doing that once my careers end.

I believe the read me says it will install over any version. I think it's an all inclusive patch, meaning it contains all previous patches. it will simply overwrite the previous ones. you should be fine.

I've been following this whole 1.3 drama all week and it's been pretty entertaining. I downloaded the "beta" and been using it the last couple days. Glad I don't have to download it again!

Still, is it possible to install this in a clean folder so I can look at the files in a vacuum?

Well, one nice feature is not having to have my DVD in the drive!

If this was intentional, all I can say is Thank you very much!
if not...Thank you very much

It's nice to know my disc is safe and secure in it's box ready for reinstall should I ever need it... well done
