yes, select it in s3D (it should turn red) and change the Y value (=the Z of the object really) till it pops out of the sub, the Y is in meters so go slow.

Some of the antennas and sensors don't have 3D models in the sub.dat since the 3D object is in the sensors_uboat.dat. So it may just be a dot.
If you know what it is, go to the submarine folder and look in the subname.sns file for the one you want and it will have a cfg number like D01, R01, etc. If you are not sure which one it is, go to the library/gerSubParts/senzori_uboat.dat and find it with the 3D preview, then find the cfg# in subname.sns.
Once you know the cfg # go to the submarine.dat file, find it, select it and you will see one dot turn red and move it up with the y value.

Look at the unitparts2xvii.upge file and you'll see the node used for the radar;

[UnitPart 1.Compartment 1.EquipmentSlot 1]
ID= RadarAntenna
NameDisplayable= Radar Antenna
Type=NULL
AcceptedTypes= NULL
UserCustomizable=Yes
IDLinkEquipmentIntervalDefault1= NULL, NULL, NULL
ExternalNodeName3D= R01
ExternalDamageZoneTypeID3D= 3

It's the R01 you're interested in. Take a copy of \data\objects\turm_18_1.dat. Then open up S3d and open up \data\objects\turm_18_1.dat - find R01 and change the Y value as stated above.

This should move up the mounting point fot the radar.

then try the other radar nodes (like R02, R03 etc.)
It should be one of them.
