That's correct! I did visit the Tango in Hamburg, and U-995 in Laboe.
This one is also a must see.

U1 is one of the largest exhibits of the Deutsches Museum. Its history is somewhat complicated, because the first submarine, U-1, of the German Imperial Navy put into service on Dec. 14th, 1906 was ultimately based on French concepts.

That's the one Aktungbby! Well done!

The museum is in München and is well worth the visit. There is various airplanes from wwi, amongst them the Fokker Dr.I.

There is also plenty of big ship models of both German wwi and wwii warships.



The U-1 was considered obsolete by the time wwi started, so it only served as a training boat until it collided with another ship in 1919.

^ IT IS INDEED! 1970 AND FEATURED IN WEDNESDAYS' WSJ COOL CARS SECTION THE ONLY WAY IN IS THROUGH THE FRONT ROOF/WINDSIELD; IT IS 33 INCHES IN HEIGHT! THAT WOULD MAKE ME SORE ALL OVER! JUST WEDGING IN THE VEHICLE AT 68 'WEDGING' ONESELF INTO A ''WEDGE'' IS HARD WORK BUT I WOULD LOOK SPORTY!
