New At Modding/Using Mission Editor

I'm trying to familiarize myself with the using the Mission Editor and attempting to create a Mission by slightly adjusting an existing mission in the war patrols sector that came with the sim. I slightly adjusted the Wounded Bear War Patrol mission, saved it as "WP06-Hunt For Wounded Bear Ver2". After saving the mission, in the Mission Editor I thought it would show-up in the Sim when opening the War Patrol screen, but it didn't. After closing the Sim and looking at the file structure, I noticed that a file called WP06-Hunt for WoundedBear Ver2.tga did not appear anywhere in the Program files for SHIV; the .mis and .tsr files did appear, but no tga file.

Can someone guide me what step was missed when saving that file/folder or what did I do or didn't do to create a tga file?
