Boris has just tested positive for the virus which is hardly surprising when you consider the number of people he must come into contact with every day.

Jeremy Corbyn says the government's response to coronavirus proves he was "absolutely right" about public spending at the 2019 general election.

The Labour leader told the BBC he had been "denounced as somebody that wanted to spend more money than we could possibly afford" to fix social wrongs.

But he said he had been vindicated by the vast sums the government was spending on the current crisis.

The Tories now realised they had to "invest in the state", he added.

I don't know why the BBC waste any time on this individual. He will sit back and comment on events as they unfold.

Typical Liebour, always wise after the fact/event.

Britain's PM has tested positive for coronavirus.

Boris Johnson is self-isolating but not stepping back from his duties for the time being.

The death toll in Spain rises sharply as 769 people die in 24 hours.

President Trump says there is "much respect" after calling President Xi of China.

There had been tension after Mr Trump's use of the phrase "Chinese virus"

The US now has more than 85,000 cases - overtaking China.

More people with Covid-19 have died in China, however.

Australia is to quarantine all returning citizens in hotels.

Hot off the news on the radio, Tesco online shopping has noticed people are ordering greater amounts of food.....NO S@!$ As you American's would say, BTW i am using Dave Allan with that comment.

So they are restricting it to a max of 80 items and 1 per item range. Once again too bloody late! Bad news here I was told from a friend whom went out shopping in my area the shops are now back to almost empty! So much for their promises two weeks ago, food riots is now looking possible.

Visited the local Tesco a few hours ago. It isn't a large supermarket but nor is it a small high street convenience size.

People were queue the perimeter of the car park and as went towards the entrance in search of a trolley a woman who was coming out said to me "I wouldn't bother, there is next to nothing on the shelves" so back O ent to the car.

What annoys me is the fact I've a little under £240 in vouchers and can't currently use them but they are valid until 30th November 1921.

Food riots will go away after 2~3 weeks, once the peasants grow too weak to walk. Expect the angry shouting to continue for months afterward though.

What anger's me as soon as this started the first items to fly off the shelf was toilet paper all the supermarket's should have bought in strong measures straight away but no all they could see was... £ signs before their eye's. I feel sorry for the workers as these decisions are taken on high. So the shop worker's suffer, reports around here they are being spat on!

My wife works for M&S and hasn't been in since last Saturday. She is a little worried her work colleagues will resent the fact she is safe at home despite not being on paid leave.

She rang a close colleague last night to find out at least another four have taken the same course of action which has left her feeling a lot better.

I've told her she can retire now if she likes (two and a half year early) but much to her credit she said she is determined to go back when everything calms down.

Now as to what the staff are being treated like by the customers I'll just say, the least said the better.
