Yes, it's possible manually man by man. But what about "crew to deck gun" button, like in SH3?

To reece: looks OK to me.
To jaxa/reece: When you dive you should remove deck crew
to inside ship slots, because if there is depth charge attack deck crew will
die or get injured. So in SH4 you need to move crew manually, but
you do not need to worry about crew getting tired, crew watch changes are automatic.
"crew to deck gun" button or Crew to AA gun button works if you have crew in right crew slots,

For one, in the type IID in the nav school I right clicked on the "Interior Aft" and all I get is a full green screen, right click again and back to command room, I pressed the "S" key from the exterior and the speech says "Snorkel not available", however in the control room pressing "S" the speech is "Surface", may be by design but not consistent, another thing is I was on the exterior and pressed "P", the speech responded ok but nothing happened, went to control room and worked, later tried with external view and worked, the biggest pain though is the reboots, the second time I ended up with HDD Index errors so had to fix that. Don't think much of the volumetric fog, in the early hours of the morning moving around the fog is like it's painted on, not that this is a bug just not nice. Not having a go at your mod Lurker just disappointed overall. There is still a lot of problems with the sound, the piping in the morning is ok on a US boat but not a u-boat, I noticed that when on the bridge and I move from left to right I get the blocks appearing at the edges. The boat almost takes off and the crew are constantly appearing and disappearing on the bridge, also read other post on things such as having to take the crew off manually when diving or the could all be killed, thing is SH3 works, may not be the greatest graphically but I don't get reboots etc!!

Using these mods:

TriggerMaru_Overhaul_17
RSRDC_TMOv170_V411
RSRDC_V411_Patch2
OpsMonsun_V705
OMv705_to_712
OM_v712_Hotfix1
OMEGU_v200
------------------
3 smaller ones, I found them long ago

Reduced Floaters
Smaller Seabed Rocks
Smaller Sea Plants

Everything runs fine, just edited "scene.dat" because of fog (used original values and edited a bit waves, subs don`t fly so much) and removed all "*.sim" from "Submarine" folder from "OMEGU_v200" because subs are elevating too much with them even at 5 m/s weather

I'm going back to GWX 3 too - less bugs and much better atmosphere.
I hope SH5 will be well done, better than SH4 ATO.

No offense really, but only "bug" here seems to be your computer...

If majority of ppl here can play them w/o any issues then problem is definately not the fanmade mods or SH4.

These guys are doing amazing jobs and I didn`t encounter any serious bugs/problems in any mods I wrote in my previous post.
And they are all big mods with great efforts put into so biatching about them is simply "not right" (they all work, I simply hate is someone tear down something that actually WORKS)...
And yes, you can call me a fanboi because I simply am of anyone who puts so much effort into mod that makes game MUCH better and does it for FREE.

P.S: If your computer can`t handle SH4 don`t even think about SH5...

Considering the amount of bugs SH4 has I think those using it have a lot of patience, and modders such as Lurker have done a marvelous job in getting around them, but it is a battle, I just don't have the patience and my computer obviously doesn't either, hopefully the work that has been done by the GWX4 team is donated to modders such as Lurker to use!

Do not worry it is not you or your comp, even GWX team failed,
Real reason is SH4 Curse, it started with narwhal and now affects whole of SH4,
Maybe it could bring down SH5 too

now now, the Narwhal's coming along nicely.
GWX didn't fail, they just couldn't meet what we wanted with what they had.
and SH5 will have it's problems, but it seems the devs are making it more modding-friendly
