TOON ran out 3-1 winners to take them to second from top spot in the championship and the mackems were beaten 2-0 to leave them four points adrift at the bottom of the premiership.

TOON are away to Barnsley tonight and should they win and Norwich get a draw or lose they'll go top.

TOON won 2-0 and Norwich gave away a two goal lead to draw 2-2 which means TOON are currently top of the league

Howay the lads, eh? They're going up and Sunderland are going down I'd reckon. Seems a shame as that's always a fairly entertaining derby.

I suppose there's always 'Boro, should they stay up. Long way to go of course, but I doin't see Sunderland escaping the drop. We'll see where it stands come the end of January.

Yeah, the Black Cats might just run out of lives.

Yes, with two points from nine played they are on relegation form, and by Christmas at this rate.

What a title race it's shaping up to be in the English top flight. A single point separates the top five. Liverpool briefly topped the table before settling into third on goal differential. They have calamity in them, but so far I really like what I see. Klopp has done wonders. Prior to his arrival, the side was listless and bereft of ideas. Now they are irrepressible going forward at times but always seem ready to concede. It's quite possible they go through the season without a clean sheet. They've taken 16 of a possible 18.

Watched the Chelsea-United match and enjoyed it. Mourinho is close to self-combusting. I wouldn't be surprised to see him just go up in a flash and be gone.

TOON are at home to Preston North End in the fourth round of the EFL Cup tonight and I'm quietly confident of a successful outcome.

As I have said before, one of my commercial TV-Channel send English football couple of times each week, about 1-3 games on Saturdays and only from PL.

I have without success tried to find some legal homepage where I can watch The TOON play

First I tried their own homepage- Failed-black screen.

Final score was a 6-0 demolition job and we play them again in the Championship on Saturday.

Not expecting such a high scoreline then but a victory and three points should be the outcome.

@Markus: If you are on FB join a couple of the TOON supporter sites, there were links to over twenty sites abroad/outside the UK where the game was being streamed live.

I didn't bother because Sky Sports News was showing every goal from every match as it was scored on my tv.

City, Arsenal and Scousers all level on points at the top, separated only by GD.

Hey Highbury

I am a Gunners fan also. Great to see Arsene Wenger doing so well in what may be his last season. I am proud to be called a gooner.

Gunners Girl.
