Default Unbroken - The RN at its best

After the farce in the Gulf recently it has been a joy to read Unbroken by Alistair Mars (Pen & Sword Military Classics). The story of a British U Class sub in the Med and a superb example of the Royal Navy at its best.

You have just fired two torpedoes at an Italian merchantman and missed, so you have surfaced and engaged with your gun, only the gun jammed on the second shell, you fired your other two torpedoes, one missed and the other one's engine failed to start and it exploded under your bow, causing a lot of damage, the Italian is now heading in to ram and both your machine guns have jammed. What order do you give next?

"Standby boarding party!" Of course.

Default

yes but they also use false persiciope in wood (very ingenious), destroy train and railway and sunk some ships.

What I remember is the high opinion of himself the captain had (an old navy tradition?)
