I've heard nothing.
I'd like the 3D model work of the engines so I can try a few things I have in mind.

Tomi's not going for a nice mod, or even a great one. He's going for perfection. The mods will be done when they're perfect.

And that's his choice to make.

Oh dear, will we be able to run it?

perfection is a nice intention and a great motivation...

but it often lets people not reach their aims. steve, i know, what i am talking about...this is why i own sh2, sh3, sh4 and sh5, but never played them more than a few patrols, before i started to modify them. and when starting to modify, the workload grows and grows, as you want to get everything done in a perfect way. result for me was to open up a lot of mods, but just finishing a very few of them.

from time to time you have to leave things the way you created them and not try to polish them for a perfect release.

True, but that's his choice to make.

And there we disagree. I don't "have" to do anything where my hobby is concerned, and neither does anyone else. I do feel that need, but if Tomi doesn't, that's his business, not ours.

Hi Tomi

I found a few small mistake in this part of my drawing, Here a updated copy of it when you restart your work.

Here are a few more drawings of the engine room, to help with anyone who is modelling it for SH.

Have you ever wonder that the piping looks like in the engine room on a Type VIIC/41, here your chance. These drawings are base on the Design and Specification Books, Volume M that was found aboard U-570, shipyard drawings and U-995. During the research we found evidence of three reviews of the engine room. The first was around mid 1941, the second is around mid 1943 and the last sometime late 1944. My drawings are base on the late 1944 version.

SH4 - Power !!

NZsnowman .. I love you my friend.
I'll leave the TYPE II to the forum and I will try with the TYPE 7C
Engin continue.
I liked the SH4 forum something powerful to give a greater interest in the expansion of SH4.

Hello,

Can I ask what happened to this great effort? Any chance this can be revived?
This is amazing!
