Mmh yeah, I already thought about this ship, and I even downloaded (about one year ago) a very detailed technical plan to have an idea of her real aspect. But I need fisrt to finish the Liberty, and I don't know if I will ever be able to do so, because I have strong difficulties with the texturing process. I would like to create at least two different textures (one with light rust, and a "weathered" one with a lot more rust) but I clearly miss the skills to achieve this goal. I was hoping "gap" would help me a lot on this matter, but my last PM were not answered.

I'm waiting for someone who is good at texture creation and UV-mapping to help me. If you like this project and you know someone who could do that, please PM me. I don't need him to do all the job. Only the UV-mapping of the hull, I can UV-map all the small details myself. Also, I need to have a nice and detailed texture which I can't create myself. And an AO-map is needed too in order to simulate the shadows on the surfaces.

So for now, this project is canceled.

This is a really good idea and we really do need a second liberty model in the game, I hope you do finish this as the model looks great. As for textures, your best bet would be to ask Alex B and/or Von Dos, they both do great texture work and are very active in the community.
