Apologies, I didn't word that very well. It was meant to be more of a generalisation/blanket term for 'why are some people'

No need to apologize, I didn't take it personally, and I don't care to rain on the brightest day for Newcastle supporters in ages, but I think the reasons are self-evident why it is considered questionable by some.

Looking on the net it appears that everyone is coming but that is only to be expected under the current circumstances.

ATM I'm more interested in who is going to replace the cabbage.

But also its a sad world when the football game nowadays is all about money.
Its not like the era of king Kev when basically every team in the league had a reasonable chance of winning the league and all had the same ammount of good players. Look at all the big star players now wanting to come and play as newcastle now have a huge ammount of money and investment. Its a shame they couldnt and didnt want to play for the toon before hand .
Shame stavely and the board didnt keep the players we have and put there wages up just out of principle .

Those players that come in the next transfer wi9ndow are nothing more than mercenaries....money talks loudest.

Yes, indeed. With endless resources the world is Newcastle's oyster, isn't it?

New owners often feel compelled to make the biggest splash they can. So it will be a big name, but perhaps not made in management.

It's all very interesting, and I'm eager to see how Newcastle navigate their newfound riches.

Money itself will not fix everything, and they'll need to overcome their lack of European football and their unfancied location to recruit top talent.
