Ioannis Koukouzelis: Mathimata

A Boy And His Dog. An old favorite I just realized I didn't have a copy of.

Neal,

I only became aware of the amazon.co.uk links a couple of weeks ago - I thought it was US only until I started poking around the right forum.

Maybe you could have a temporary banner on the front page (the usual ones where closing it means you don't see it again) with the international Amazon links. If I've missed it, think how many other regulars may have.

All I need to do now is persuade the long-haired General to use the link and you'll be rolling in it!

Century Classics 4: 1600-1700. I got it used, in "Very Good" condition, for $1.37, plus $3.99 shipping. Total cost: $5.36. The shipping was three times the cost.

I see that it's already done. I want a big hi-def picture of the babe on the banner. That is the right way to display the Union Flag!

I don't know how many people read this thread, but it was the only proper place to post this. When you buy something on Amazon you get a request for a review of the product. When you read reviews they have a button you can click if you find the review helpful. I tend to review most of the stuff I buy, and I sometimes get an email saying that someone has found one of my reviews helpful. I recieved one of those emails just a couple of minutes ago. I always click the link to see which review it was. In this case it was a short review I wrote five years ago!

Back in 2005 the computer I still use came with a 128MB video card. Three years later I bought one which doubled that to 256MB. All the review says is that the card seemed to work fine but I misjudged and still needed a bigger one. I finally ended up with a 1GB Radeon 4650, which is the best card I can get for an old AGP slot. I didn't review that card since I got it from NewEgg.

I'm still wondering why someone would find a review helpful that says nothing more than "it's okay, but I still need something better".
