Do ships degrade after a hit?
I already think I know the answer.
I was in a mission, scored a couple of hits on a BB, she was listing and smoking, I had no more torps left and no deck gun. so I followed her seeing as she was going slow, I followed for ages thinking she may flood and capsize but it kept going. I did the time excel and still she kept afloat so in the end I gave up, thinking back to SH2 I'm sure sometimes if you hit a ship it degraded as time went on and eventually destroyed, I was hoping this would carry on to SH3. Depends on the 'Hit' and the Units damage zones settings.
Yes. You can hit a Non-critical area and get the results you seen. Not all Ships that were hit sunk in Real life. So it's kind of realistic.

Thanks Jeff, it was just that she was listing and her stern was going under water I thought she may flood, but as you said it depends where I hit and the zones, makes sense now.
