One could build a virtual bedroom from that list!

Not that I would do anything like that.

Umm...
Do you have a link to the Bucky 40 Blinks Mask Ultralight Eye Mask?

Just need an image source.
Research!! Purely research!!

I haven't gone anywhere, and I haven't gone anywhere near any lines. It was a perfectly innocent comment on the amount of sheets and pillowcases purchased. I only own one set of sheets, and that's all I will own until they fall apart.

You don't really have to read innuendo into every single comment.

Well Steve,

I find the higher thread counts hold up much longer.
So don't buy the Wal-Mart sheets if you plan a long useage life.

Tossing and turning also impact the life time so you may need to adjust for that.

Well, here's what happened.

I sleep with an eye mask because it's the only way I can get to sleep and stay asleep all night. (Also earplugs, not that THEY do much good in the current environment. )

Over the past couple of years I've been trying out different masks trying to find one that did the job, was comfortable, and didn't start to wear out after a couple months.

I bought one a while back and have been using it for a while. It seemed to be meeting all the criteria. Then I woke up one morning this week and found dark stains all over my pillowcases, which had bled all the way through those and through the pillow protectors right down to the pillows themselves. It took some headscratching but I finally realized that they were coming from the mask somehow. Went back to Amazon, where I bought it, and saw that someone else had reported the exact same problem.

End result, I'm going back to the Bucky eye mask, since I'd rather buy a new eyemask 3-4 times a year than new bedding every week.

Well, I needed new pillows anyway, and I'm pretty sure that most of what I have on the bed now is ruined due to the mask, so I decided to bite the bullet and replace everything as soon as the new mask arrives.

I'm an ear-plug man myself. Total silence puts me in a deep sleep.
(and I hate to hear myself whimper when I'm sleeping)
I dropped the mask after the last divorce.

You don't really have to explain yourself, though it is an entertaining story.

I thought you had gotten into a place of your own, and it was good.

I'm still in the "looking" stage. That kind of fell off over the winter, as it got too dark too early to drive around after work and look at anything, plus with the holidays and everything - bah. I am pre-approved for a loan (or pre-pre-approved, whatever) so I have the piece of paper from the bank to prove to people that I am indeed a Serious Potential Buyer.

And as it happens one of my former co-workers is coming back to work for us part-time, and during her time away from our practice she became a licensed real estate agent and did that from home while raising her kids. I just need to get with her and see what she needs once I get a list together of places I want to look at.

Dowly doesn't do innuendo at all. He's straight and to the point.

You're reaching for a laugh, and not quite getting there.

I'm sorry you didn't find that funny...

I did slightly, thought i'd add it in for the benefit of the conversation, and obviously it did nothing but give you a foothold in the war to take me down.

Dr. Steve, O.L.D, thank you for shooting me down yet again.

I enjoy joking around and being a professional smartass like me, it happens all the time.

I got it. Professor Red "Smartass" October. I was an apprentice to Dr. Steve and then went rogue to work for Blackwater Mercenaries...and then stuff happened and now I am just a normal, young, human being posting on an internet forum after a game of BattleTech...
