@ Aktung: as a Brit I only feel inclined to address an American as 'mate' when we've become genuinely friendly over time. 'Buddy' is more an informal friendly greeting offered in your own vernacular, which can be used for someone less familiar

However, if it's another Englishman then he'll call him 'mate' even if he's the plumber

Key to success is open two windows. In the first window type the “whack whack whackety wack” response. The second window use to refresh once in awhile to see when the squirrel appears. When it does immediately switch to the first window and press submit.

If I didn’t go to the beach I would have won.

I expect the beach was, well okaaay, but nothing compares with winning a Whack-A-Squirrel finally (obvious gratuitous statement)! We had a parade at home where I marched, with all due humility for the honor, past the roaring crowd of two felines wanting breakfast to the W. C. It was magic.
