We might have a shiny new Volvo with a nice 500,000 mile warranty soon. Shouldn't cost more than we've been paying in repairs at 42 cents a mile. ...and my other buddy with have a spare truck so our reliability should be WAY up, won't miss that "great" paying load.

Wow, that is exciting! You sound like you are a good businessman, I agree, 2.99% is a really good rate. I hope it goes through for you, please keep us posted, a few pictures too, if appropriate.

I wish I had enough industry knowledge and experience to take the plunge but right now I am still gathering. Good luck!

We call it surface treatment, you guys in the 'states and western Canada call it tar and chip. It is the same thing. The spreader is made by Etnyer in Chicago,Il as are the two oilers/spray trucks. Here is the finished product all cured after 2 weeks.

...and Bank of America's, where we've banked since starting the business until tomorrow probably, answer is not only no, but hell no. They won't even finance a step deck for us at $36,000. They won't look at our current year until it's actually filed in October so that's our problem.
