SHO Shellback saluting the Ensign

Ahoy Pollywogs! I'm a vintage Brit living in Thailand. Just another airbreather, the closest I ever got to the RN was as a cadet from school (HMSS Rame Head, now scrapped, berthed next to HMY Britannia and across from the then about-to-be decommissioned HMS Arc Royal). When I grew up, I wanted to be a submariner but was "too tall" (197cm), so tried the Army (no left handed salutes permitted there), but was "too unhealthy". I've been aboard an old diesel sub whilst moored, and enjoyed taking long distance photos of US and UK subs in Hong Kong harbour when I was there. I eventually found Harpoon and became a fanatical player of strategy games; here I am now, playing Cold Waters and looking for more missions
