Default DWEdit propblem

Just added my new Ohio to the 3d.grp and added it to the dbase.

Then I get a blue screen crash and referencing the module ati3duag.dll

Now it isn't just me, Aaken who converted the model for me had the same crash with the same reference and he has an ATI card.

So obviously it is something to do with the ATI and dwedit. Dunno what. He tried without textures and it was ok.
He has an ATI X600 I have an X300 SE.

thing is the model worked in the game. So a dwedit problem.

So if anyone ahs the dwedit without the 3d preview pane could you please send it.

Sounds like there's something about the textures that causes the gfx drivers to fail. If the newest drivers don't fix it, try sending crash dumps etc to the correct people at ati.

Couldn't the renderer in the latest version of DWedit be passing an illegal command to the ATI drivers? :hmm:

In which case it's just one of those things... but graphics and the various devices around them are not my thing at all.

It is something to do with DWEdit happens sometimes.

I forgot about dwedits display, and therefore misunderstood the problem.

It seems probable that DWEdit code is at fault - but it's still possible that the drivers are at fault.
