Even this Knee bending should be banned-it has nothing to do with fooball.

Yes even racism happens in Sport. But here the authorities has very effective weapons against this.

Here in Denmark- following happens if a supporter group makes racist against a player on the other team.
First their team lose the match.
Second(if it continues) Their team get a 30 points withdraw.
Third. Kicked down to a lower division.

They have to prove it.

Who'd be a bleeding goalkeeper, the poor currant is going to be in for a lot of stick from the Slovak press, he should apply for Spanish citizenship as I don't think it would be refused.

There I make up my mind to watch a game played by the Germans, my first match viewed this time - and then it's the gurgling and gagging that I feared. Creepy. And Löw still is there.

Die Hard, eh? And then this idiotic debate about rainbows. Germans... Even some of the players thought they must let the world now what they think about it. Should better focus on the teams performance instead. Wasting time you can if you master the sports easy-peezy and its no challenge for you anymore

Should have made another pizza in that time, that would have been time better spent. But I watched two matches in one. My first and my last match during this tournament.

You not going to watch your country against England next Tuesday then?

Oh, I did not notice the pairing.

Lets put it this way. Maybe, if I do not make pizza, I will consider watching your country playing against Germany.
I cant help myself. I am really ticking against the German team this time, and it annoys me that they one more time again have just bumbled heir way through at the last minute and imo undeservedly. Maybe because Löw shamelessly overstayed his time, maybe because I do not like the players. Maybe I just cannot identify with this group this time. It just does not click, there is zero emotional connection between me and this team. None. No identification whatever on my side. And the whole ideological tamptam in Germany about rainbows and the messy situation with the DFB's fat cats, it all come sotgether. They pissed me off.

Possible that I am done with it forever.

I rather talk about pizza.

Come on, no one loves Bayern-Muenchen unless their players are in an international competition. Well a few maybe ..

E.g. Leon Goretzka is very good i think. Problem in the last game with Hungary, the latter played like Germany did for two decades in the 20ieth century: "Standfußball". You can win with it, but you are boring everyone to death.

The german strategy worked well against a team like Portugal that wants to play instead of blocking all the time, but of course it should have adapted better. First hungarian goal in the first five minutes sure was a cold shower

It all starts again tomorrow with Wales v Denmark and Italy v Austria

I'm hoping Wales will edge it but I'm not overly confident and I expect my choice for eventual competition winner, Italy will defeat the Austrians.

Todays games.
I think Denmark have the edge over Wales but they will not be an easy team to beat, Italy should win too, although I think Austria will also have their moments as well.
Wales vs Denmark
Italy vs Austria

Every time the Danes or the Swedes meet other team in a tournament I always say-Expect the worst, but hope for the best.

If they lose I wouldn't be so sad and I'll be double so happy if they win.

I know Wales has Bale, but who else can make a bad day for the Danes ?

Into the second half now and Denmark have a 2-0 lead so I can't see any way back from Wales unless a miracle happens.

4-0
A result I did not expect.

Was expecting 1-0/0-1/2-1/1-2.

Denmark own the game had most of the momentum during the game.
