TWoS with Steam version

From what I can gather, this mod doesnt work with the steam version?

if thats true, is there another recommended mod for the steam version, like Open Horizons II?

I've been playing vanilla lately, looking for something more.

You can use any mods with SH5.
All the mega mods use TDW's Generic File Patcher (GFP) application.
The GFP is essential to be able to play SH5 as it gets rid of most of the bugs and glitches.
Steam is not compatible with the GFP.
Vanilla is heavily bugged and becomes unplayable.

Maybe get a refund on your steam version, explaining game is unplayable without fixes and mods....which is accurate.

Then get the Gamersgate version which is compatible with the patcher and mods.

I have always found Steam quite okay about refunds for games they know are fubar in vanilla state.
