Given Chelskis lacklustre performance against United the other week I'm not entirely surprised to be honest.

City vs United will be a good match to watch, I may be a United man but I reckon City have a good chance, United are struggling in places.

One thing I've always wondered though, if they took footballers wages down by about 75%, who would still be playing football?

Hi Jamie...picture this:

My 18 year old daughter has her first boyfriend who lives in my home town with his family but was born in Peckham and as such is a Chelsea supporter (southern dialect and all that).

His mothers brother (his uncle) is the Newcastle United club dentist and an official club sponsor of not only Newcastle United but also the skunks that reside on the banks of the Wear

It is not unusual to see my daughter waltzing around the place of abode wearing official Chelsea club issue sportswear whilst insisting she is a Toon follower like her father.

Dear People Who Keep Making Discworld Movies,

I admire and appreciate the fact that you are making DW movies. Really, I do. Because my heart longs for a really, really great film adaptation of a DW story. But unless you can swing the type of budget that allows for really good special effects and possibly Peter Jackson to direct, please... just stop. Because I keep wasting time watching these things that would be better spent just re-reading the books instead, which I could easily do in the 2-4 hours it takes to watch another mediocre film adapation of a DW book.
