Default Webshops started shipping!

Norwegian webshop Gamezone started shipping SH5 today. Friend of mine just got the shipping confirmed and will be receiving the game tomorrow that bastard
I'm on the fence untill my friend has checked out the OSP and how it's impacting the gaming.

Remember I begged my local game shop to sell me Silent Hunter 3 a day or so before the release date.

"We better sell a copy to this dude, he looks desperate..."

Maybe worth taking a trip to some local game shops and see if any have a copy of SH5 on the shelf already

Thanks for the info! They had 6 in stock, so now it's 5

Edit: got confirmation that the game is in the mail. Guess I'll have it tomorrow, or monday.

It could be though that we won't be able to unlock it before the relase day.

Might be worth a go
Damn, this is a tuff one to wait out. I really don't like Ubisofts policy but the SH series is my all time favourite. Oh what to do, what to do

Be interesting to see if he'll be able to play immediately or if he just has a nice box to look at till the formal release date. Keep us informed, if you would.

Good point! I didn't think of that one. It will indeed be interesting to see if the servers are up already.

They were be up for the previews, so it's certainly possible they'll be available.

My friend, a manager of my local GameStop store doesn't have now and won't have SH5 on shelves on release day.

Neither will 3 other short drives GS stores.

If I want game it takes a $15.00 deposit to order it.

Non refundable.

Local Bestbuy, Walmart or Target won't have it either.

Some sysadmin at Ubisoft: "Hey, what are these connections coming in?"
Ubisoft manager: "Oh #$@#%! We forgot to set up the SH5 servers!"
Sysadmin, muttering: "next time don't worry about the forums so much..."
