Iranian Ship accidently hits one of it's own vessels in training Maneuvers
Iran Hit and sunk one of it's own vessels during exercises. The vessel was struck after towing a moving practice target to it's destination and then not creating enough separation between itself and the target.
An Iranian missile fired during a live-fire training exercise in the Gulf of Oman struck a support vessel near its target, killing at least 19 sailors and injuring 15 others, Iran's army said Monday Quote: The friendly fire incident involving the Konarak vessel occurred on Sunday afternoon near Bandar-e Jask, off the southern coast of the Islamic republic, it said on its website. One report said the vessel had sunk after being hit by a missile fired by another Iranian warship. https://news.yahoo.com/iran-warship-...060502122.html https://www.cbsnews.com/news/iran-mi...illed-konarak/ If this isn't incompetence, I don't know what is. |
