Hello,

Not sure if you solved this problem, but I just figured this out just now. After doing some searching, make your AA settings to application controlled in CCC.

Even AF too, if you must. But for me, I run an HD 6850 and just changing the AA to application controlled did it for me.

Good luck.

Hello all,

I don't know if this is the correct thread to post my question, and i'm sorry if it was not.

I would like to know if my problem is just a known bug, or if it's just me doing something wrong ...

So : i have created a mission with my submarine, and also a german airplane. The mission starts on January 1st, 10:30. The airplane appears the same day but at 11:00, 100 km away from my sub. I set : "evolve from entry date". But when i play the mission, the airplane doesn't spawn at all .......

What's wrong ??

Edit : if i do the same thing with a ship, the ship spawns ...

Have you set the spawning parameter at 100%?

What Aircraft and what is it's Entry date?
Say your mission is set in 1940 and the entry date for the plane is 1941.
The plane will not spawn.

No, entry date is 1940 in the roster cfg. file, and the mission takes place in 1941. If i just put the plane without setting "evolve from entry date" and setting the entry date in 1940, i can see the plane.

In fact, after several attempts, i can see the airplane with "evolve from entry date", but not always, only 30 % of the time, although spawning parameter is on 100 %.

Moreover, i've tried something else : i put a random generated group, with a spawning probability of 100 % every hour, from 5 to 12 o'clock. Well, most of the time, i see nothing. It just worked one single time on all my attempts. That's really odd ....

Maybe the explanation is that my crew doesn't see it everytime ... even if the plane is just 500 meters high. I need to test more.

So, I have a huge problem.

I have added an airplane in my Campaign_SCR.mis file. It's spawned on January 5 (1944), at 7:30 (it evolves from entry date). I've created a single mission where my submarine is 230 km far from the spawn of this plane. The mission starts at 7:00 (January 5, 1944), and the airplane should pass right over me at 8:00. But in fact, the airplane never appear when I play the mission even if i wait until 12:00 !

What's wrong ???????????

Please, help me !

Thank you for the links, but it doesn't help me. I don't have any problem with triggers. Just an airplane that doesn't spawn. This is incomprehensible ....

So, here is the situation, with the airplane's properties :

The mission starts on January 1st, 1944, 12:00. The plane never appears ....

What's wrong guys ?

Default Very interesting !

So, after one hour of intensive tests, here are my discoveries :

I've tested with the mission beginning at 12:11, so one minute after the plane spawns. First test, the airplane appears (at 12:46) ! But not in the following tests... Then, i found that in fact, at time compression x256, the plane always appears, but never appears at TC x512. Then, i found that the plane always appears if TC is less than x512 after 12:33 only, or maybe a bit later (i didn't test all possible time values), but never if TC is equal or superior to x512 after 12:36 (10 minutes before the plane is spotted) even if you lower the TC a few minutes later, as 12:40.

And then, i tested with the mission starting at 12:00 with TC x256, and magically, the plane appeared !!!

Could you re-create this experience on your computer guys ?

Here is the mission, I just don't remember if the Fw 200 is a stock game plane and with type=304 :

It has long been an established/accepted fact that the SH3 game engine can experience issues with aircraft spawning at a tc higher than x128.

Without looking for specific posts I can recall it being highlighted on many occasions over the years.
