Default New Map colors

New color enhanced map for easier City,Ocean, and Country name recognition. Just download into your Override folder. Should work with the standard map as well as the enhanced version.

It's in the graphic Mods section for Cold Waters Enjoy

Many thanks Salty
Use your maps the whole time. Very handy for finding the backdoor channels round the Bastion and picking ambush points.

Your welcome. Credit for the base enhanced map which I use goes to PLHarpoon. I just wanted to add contrast to the names! Note this is not the map just the name color fix. This Mod just fixes the map text....Enjoy

First, thanks.

I replaced the same name file in each campaign folder. The text change showed up, but not the darkened map. I went to the file (snooping around) and wondered what color string was taking priority. Any suggestions?

I wish sea floor colors were more distinct on the tactical map. It seems that a Virginia class would automatically track changes and then it would be easily noticed if I am chasing a landing ship to shallow waters or if I should evade towards deeper water. Just not very detectable on the TacMap.

I understand the two paras are totally unrelated.

I suggest using the enhanced map by PLHarpoon in the graphics section download. It's a great Mod. Then install my graphic fix after.

Okay, thanks! I did notice that your file was a .txt file. Now I understand that a graphics file plays a roll.

Thanks.
