U-838 auf Kaperfahrt

U-838 departed Kiel on August 20, 1939 and has been at sea for 1,077 days Now I will post pictures of the KTB, Maps. etc. on here but the bulk of posts have been made on Subsim's Facebook page.

Now U-838 never existed so i created an imaginary uboat which would've been the largest constructed twice the size of a type XB minelayer now this creation of mine is based on the type IX uboat and some of the uboats never built

On the 22nd of September 1942, a German uboat docked in Tripoli, Libya, the boat and her 175 man crew are the most hunted on the high seas

U-838 arrives at her first port of call the boat will embark mail (bound for Germany), 5 officers, 12 ratings, and documents all will be brought by motorboat, at 16:00 U-838 departed for Piraeus, Greece. Today U-838 has been at sea for 1,129 days
