Default Hell Let Loose!

Hell Let Loose is a new WW2 First Person Shooter focusing more on realism than what Call Of Duty brings to the table. I've been following it for awhile and it just started up a KickStarter campaign with a 10 minute gameplay trailer.

Here's their Facebook page for more info: https://www.facebook.com/HellLetLoose/

Looks great, but I'll unfortunately never get to play it as it's going to require internet and Steam (like everything nowadays). The graphics... such as we've seen in the preview material... don't look a whole lot different to BiA "Hell's Highway", although of course the gameplay will be the defining thing.

Gutted! Looks really good, but It's only going to be PVP isn't it? Hope not.

If there's a campaign and single player I really really hope they nail the sound effects.
Probably the most important thing for immersion in war sims/shooters Imo.
Games need to try to create that viseral sense of firing a weapon, and all the sounds that go with it and war.

Arma 3 is pretty good at that, but not perfect.
And Red Dead Redemption had really nice punchy weapon sound effects, with good reverb effects too.

This looks really promising though, hopefully it turns out ok in the end.

Default Call of Duty World War 2

Hey, I agree with you Chad, if you really wish to play a first person shooter game, then Call of Duty World War 2 is the best choice. Since my friend Call of Duty World War 2 kaufen from an online store, we enjoy playing the game. The new updated weapons and the graphic design has made the game more attractive.

Internet only, like everything now.

Sorry to be a bore, but the most "punchy" (good word) WW2 weapon effects are found in the old game Hidden & Dangerous 2. I can vouch for this: having fired the Lee Enfield No4 rifle many times on the outdoor range, I can attest that the ringing concussive sound of firing this weapon has never been bettered. In the old BiA series, carbines etc sounded like somebody hitting a wooden plank with a small hammer, so I just assume that the other weapons in H&D2 are more lifelike also. Bloody good gameplay in this old sandbox series too, and I'll never tire of revisiting...

PVP Games these days are so rife with Cheaters, Script Kiddies and Hacks . bans are ineffective. Finding a clean lobby is almost impossible . Rockstar have never got it under control . Bohemia Interactive have some success. I can't see a small developer doing any better. If this had a Campaign layer it would interest me more

Got into this over the weekend. Not as easy as BF games, though, I get shot before I ever see the enemy....
