Try being the escort for that one in Destroyer Command...Brutal! the uboats don't miss and the Luftwaffe is unrelenting. I don't bother much with the depth charges- just ram at Peridepth- to keep them under or shell them at night when they tend to be on the surface and save anti air ammo for the 50's and the 20 mm bofors. Its a long way from Gibraltar to Malta. Got sunk by a crashing Heinkle and had to transfer my commodore pennant on the last outing. But it lends perspective to my uboating as I love sneaking into Malta while the enemy is engaged heavily by our brave fleigers of the Luftwaffe..
