"2000 Years Later". A surprisingly good movie that's probably destined to disappear

A bit of a corny plot...A Roman soldier is plucked by the God Mercury from The Fall of Rome, and sent into the future to warn the future people....us guys to not go down the same path.

He appears on a chat show and is an instant celebrity unwittingly starting a "Reditus Ad Roma" - Return to Rome - movement/fashion craze.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people.



I didn't think this film was that great, far from it, it would pass a couple of hours babysitting a couple of very young rowdy kiddies, but that's it. For an adult to pay money at the cinema to watch this mediocre comedy fantasy film you'd have to be as thick as a brick with an IQ of less than 60 to enjoy this film.
The cliches were strong with this film and, to top that off, the baddies, those same old baddies that had come before this film could have been picked from any celluloid film of 40 years ago and just dumped into this one to make the numbers up.

With that in mind, I'm going to give it a Parent Rating instead of a movie rating, it'll keep the kids glued to the TV screen for a couple of hours and that's probably what this film will be bought for, sleep tight Mom zzzzzzzzzz.

edit: Really...? Is there no English word for "jemandem etwas gönnen", can you express that in English only by combining two negatives: "jemandem etwas 1. nicht 2. missgönnen..." ? Wonderland of foreign languages...
