I think you misunderstand what I was saying Dowly. I am in no way suggesting that they didn't try or that they won't try again. Quite the opposite. What I am saying is that now the Russians see very clearly the relationship between the antiTrump resistance in the American intellegence agencies and their counterparts in the progressive media. They see how easy it is to lead these types by the nose and manipulate their messaging to the public. Russia's attempts to influence voters would be greatly reduced if some Americans would stop cooperating with them.

On that i partially agree, though i believe the real "deep state" Eisenhower warned about has the money and resources, which is mostly not ecxactly "left wing". That this threat to democracy is suddenly to be believed of some left manouevering just because it is against Trump, does not convince me.

I would not describe me as "left", but i perceive the arguments are often in their favour. Perceived, mind you.
Also a stout european right-wing would of course be "left" in the current political cimate in the US

Don't worry about it Markus ... if you could watch USA news like we do
you would see 10's of thousands of Trump followers lining up to go to
his political rallies that raise money for his reelection.

Them you would see the pathical few that attend the Sanders rallies that want free this and free that

even the democrats don't want Sanders due to he is so different than what they really stand for.

about (8) months and one week till we know, but we still have to go through the circus debates of Trump
and the GOP hopefuls and then of course the DNC and the GOP debates to decide which one is a better candidate to lead America on to victory.

Of course his supporters will vote on him and then there will be those who don't 'cause they expect him to win.

What I try to say is-As I read among those of my friends who support Trump, "He will win easily" and it can be dangerous to have such an attitude.

I do recall what a Swedish journalist said on Swedish TV in the middle of the 90's.

"George W. Bush was very popular after the first Iraqi war and people around him said he could sit tight through the 92/93 election and win with ease.
And he didn't win-Bill Clinton did, as you know by now."
