Default Walther boat

When I select the walther boat In SH4 I can't use it as I have no crew. Any Ideas? Specs are

TMO 152
TMO Sboat patch
RSRDC TMOv15_v371
RSRDC_v371_Patch10
Opsmonsun_v400
OM_v400_Patch2

OpMonsun has its own crew system, and any unit that isn't edited to work with it will start with empty crew. Type XVIII is a fictional boat in the sense that it was never built, so it has no place in OpMonsun.

Well, you could of course manually edit the upc file but it'll be a hell of a job

Somewhere in the .upcge file there'll be the crewmemberslots (like [UserPlayerUnit 1.Compartment 4.CrewMemberSlot 1]).
These have got an entry like IDLinkCrewMember= Crew-Sr-NCO-Rank-1-Command.
If you are not having any crew it probably means these are set to a non-existing value. Open UPCDataGE\UPCCrewData\CrewMembers.upc and replace the crewmember IDs in the walther upc file with any of the IDs in the crewmembers.upc file.

So if in the walther upc file you find the following

Quote:
[UserPlayerUnit 1.Compartment 2.CrewMemberSlot 3]
............
IDLinkCrewMember= Crew-Sr-NCO-Rank-1-Command (or any other not working value)
............
and in the crewmembers.upc file

Quote:
[CrewMember 1]
ID= Crew-Seaman-Rank-1
............
then change the crewmemberslot in the walther upcge file into

Quote:
[UserPlayerUnit 1.Compartment 2.CrewMemberSlot 3]
............
IDLinkCrewMember= Crew-Seaman-Rank-1
............
repeat this for every crewmember slot and your u-boot will be manned
