Bears are too effective?
Playing the 1968 campaign on hard difficulty and against any surface force there ALWAYS seems to be a Bear present, even when I'm not too far north of Iceland where you would think the Bears would be vulnerable to NATO interceptors. Furthermore they always seem to know where you are, it's like they can see you through the water and know where to find you or exactly where they need to drop sonobouys.
Any opinions and/or solutions on this? |

Yes, they are looking into this if I remember correctly. They show up where the shouldn't and seem to be a little too good at finding you.

In the meantime you can disable them.
Create a folder called "override" in "steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets" and put this file inside: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5S...ItSVF6MVk/view It will stop movement of ASW aircrafts (helis not included) so they can't detect you with their overpowered MAGs. |

I noticed the same problem with Tu-95. It's overmodelled LOL .
His crew knows everything (without sound buoy also). This is the magic, simply ;>. Btw. the fuel is unlimited I think too. |

You don't have it cause it's not on initial install. You have to make one yourself and if it's there the game will load config files from that folder instead of "default" so that if you want to return to vanilla game you can just delete/rename the "override" folder.
