Germany has not defeated the startingf dsate for the campoaign. It were just one or two regional health officials who yesterday told their sataff to begin early in caretaking homes, since they did not see why this symbiologicla thing should stop them formn starting when thexy already were ready. It was national health minister Spahn who did not want to start early, and whom the newspapers quiote with beign "suprised" and "irritated" by these regional displays of disobedience and lacking solidraity (means, he was angry).
The headlines today indeed talk a lot about the great "display of EU unity" today. Easrlier, the eU already outshone itself with delaying the licensing of the BionTech/Pfizer vaccine in order to care for the commercial inbterstrs of a French anmjfatcurer whose vaccine is late in development and featred that eh woul,kd selol less doses. Originally the EU did not want to start vaccinating until the end of next week. It then came under growing pressure from severla national govenments, including the German one that originally was for the delayed scheme, but felt the breath of critics in its neck. Isn'T solidarity especially precious if you even agree to sacrifice humans for it - mustn't it be of a very special value then...?

Covid crisis and climate change December 28, 2020 (ANDREAS TÖGEL)
Somehow it was already in the air that sooner or later the corona pandemic would be linked to "climate change". After all, there is hardly a negative event on this globe that should have nothing to do with it. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, a communist from Ethiopia, non-medical practitioner and WHO chief at the grace of China, has finally uttered the words of salvation so urgently longed for by many climate apocalyptists: All efforts to improve the global health situation are futile as long as climate change is not effectively opposed and animal welfare is not given more attention. So everything is clear: the end of the corona pandemic will certainly not mean the end of the coercive state measures introduced on its behalf. Since Ghebreyesus has so far not documented any meaningful statements, this bizarre statement should not surprise anyone. However, it does show where the journey planned by the nomenklatura should go in the coming years. On the way to bondage one cannot do without concepts of an enemy. If the corona pandemic ever ends, other globally threatening enemies will be needed, and all possible efforts will be required to combat them. And that requires an international alliance. National, regional or even individual efforts are by no means sufficient for this. It would be best if the world rallied hopefully under the wise leadership of a UN-appointed world government. After all, who doesn't want a healthy world with an “optimal” climate, the character of which is defined by omniscient central bureaucrats. Maintaining the most drastic enemy images possible, which is part of the ABC of political trade, is essential in order to keep the always fearful herd of inexperienced vocal cattle together and to be able to lead them without resistance. Whether it is dangerous external enemies in the form of hordes of murderous barbarians, epidemics, climatic disasters or poverty, racism, discrimination or sexism, is irrelevant. The key is to proclaim a war on something. Anyone who does not participate is an egoist, an anti-social, a "threat" or even a traitor. History teaches: The resolute struggle - against whatever - is an unsurpassed instrument of collectivization. We decide! Common good before self-interest! Who would disagree (even although these were Nazi slogans)? Under the banner of fighting a pandemic, the world's most devastating deforestation since 1929 in the field of medium-sized companies is taking place. The delay in bankruptcy in the current year must not hide the fact that the entire economic structure will change drastically under the force of the dictated measures ("lockdowns"): the middle class, the backbone of every Western society organized in a market economy, hundreds of thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises, will disappear. The banks - many of them are already struggling to survive - will be absorbed by the governments, i.e. nationalized, after the necessary write-downs due to huge bad debt losses. Like the Soviet Union in 1917, the state will dominate the banks and the bulk of the means of production. "Big business" will - as it was once under the Nazi thumb - come to terms with big government. If at the end of the "cleansing process" that is ongoing thanks to lockdowns, the entrepreneurial middle class is ruined and only a few internationally operating giants remain (which in fact operate under political advisors), Marx's prophecy will be fulfilled and socialism will have triumphed worldwide. Then nothing stands in the way of a bright future under the dictates of a politically correct world government. https://www.ortneronline.at/covidkrise-und-klimawandel/ ----------------------------------------------------- A world government hanging at the strings of China. Like much of the UN and the complete WHO already do.

As of week 2020-51, 16 247 249 cases have been reported in the EU/EEA and the UK:
With the alarming increase in fatalities the European Union has decided to switch from daily reports to report just once a week on Thursday only. As of week 2020-51, 403 990 deaths have been reported in the EU/EEA and the UK. The first Union of States to reach the coveted 400 thousand mark.

@ Skybird:
"Climate change has been implicated in disease emergence (e.g. tick-borne encephalitis in Scandinavia) and will likely cause substantial future pandemic risk by driving movement of people, wildlife, reservoirs, and vectors, and spread of their pathogens, in ways that lead to new contact among species, increased contact among species or otherwise disrupts natural host-pathogen dynamics." may have escaped your attention: https://ipbes.net/sites/default/file...20Report_0.pdf
