“Ship sunk” message?
I’ve been playing SH5 for over a year now. I came from SH3 and in the latter you are informed by a crew member when you have sunk a ship. It’s a useful thing and I wonder if, like several other things, it’s in there but just doesn’t work.

generally in SH V either by eel shot or deck-gun, I just wait till the the periscope, deckgun sight, or UZO red target triangle goes out, indicating the vessel is no longer a target. This is particularly useful when encountering damaged burning vessels from an unknown assailant that are still a viable target for which U can claim the gratis tonnage with a coupe d'grâce. Best to use the deck gun in such cases to save precious eels for serious work later in the mission-"one ship one eel" silent Ottowise!

Thanks for the replies. I usually look at Captain's log. But it'd be nice to have the anouncement. As the game recognizes the kill, would it be possible to create a voice affirmation too? I'm not sure if this is in game codes or not.
