Default Would you be kind enough to share your dreamscene background?

Hi guys I found out a trick to enable dreamscene animated desktop background in my Vista premium windows. It's supposed to be a feature of Vista ultimate.

Now I'm looking for more dreamscene background to be used...

Would anyone be kind enough to share his favorite dreamscene background?

I've found a few nice one I'll share them with you if you like

dreamscenes are simply short, repeating avi files. You can make your own. as for ones to share - sorry - am using win7 and I don't think that "feature" made it in to the rc. I admit - I havent looked, but here have been no dl's for the function.

I don't think MS is going to put dreamscene in final release of Windows 7 nor they ever planned on doing that.

Well at first impression it was WOW-er. Well depending on the quality and type of the dreamscene.

Yes I'm aware that they are ordinary wmv file(video files) but I was asking if anybody got a really good avi to be used as dreamscene.

The possibilities are limitless. Could be a HUD recording of a viper for one, diving recording or a scenery recording of a quiet beach.

Anyway dreamscene takes up some processor load and it will be turned off automatically If I run say games thus bugging me to set it up again once quitting the game. Nice feature to show to buddies but in the long run it's quite useless aside from warming up the CPU. .
At least it persuaded me into thinking that now I know what quadcores are for!!!

In theory you should be able to take any appropriate video file and put in the directory and thus have it show and play. I would really have liked it better if it would have done low output sound - so you could hear the waterfall as well as see it. Ambient noise - not blaring.

Lol no because my Vista is actually premium not ultimate and I just made the dreamscene available through an installer from youtube.

Anyway whenever I play games then exit to desktop the dreamscene would be changed and my desktop backgorund would only show a solid color background. Is this normal? Whenever the dreamscene is not showing on the screen, it doesn't take any resources from my PC which is nice but why does my desktop reset to a solid color background if I play 3D games?
