Wow looking back on them shots Steed we have come very long way since SH2 hard to belive i thought it was cutting edge at the time

As far as U-Boats go probably the ambitious but flawed Epyx title Sub Battle Simulator (1987) then 360 Pacific's arcade sim "Das Boot" (1990). I still have all those old friends on various platforms except Gato up in my loft. In those days you would definitely not have picked the PC as a games machine over "superior" hardware like the Commodore 64 which featured sound, joystick control and a much larger colour pallette than the PC! |
