I have noticed, yet I still did not find any relevant planes that fit that criteria. This makes me sad.

The only 4 engine Soviet military transport that (I know of) went into (some sort of) service in early 1950s is Tu75. It ain't it.

My bad, I thought you were refering to the C-1A not being a cargo aircraft and thus wrong.

Over to you Oberon.

First flight in 1962. (nor did any other Tu95 model enter the service in "early 50s") Better name would be RC really, because целеуказатель, though due to transliteration RT designation is used for some reason.
http://fas.org/nuke/guide/russia/bomber/tu-95.htm

p.s. please check the information before posting it as a clue, as it could be misguiding.

Anyway, I'll see what I can dig up.

Not in service, nor was the RT in service in early 50s. Acceptance in the service - 1957, even if we count the the entire Tu95 series rather than the RT, thus the hint was plain wrong.

Yes you are right. I should have said first flown. On the other hand I was not looking for a specific variant, making Oberon's answer correct.

It's just a game.

Technically the hint is still wrong, as Tu95 was accepted into service in 1957. Unless 1957 is "early 50s" now.

So posting misguiding hints is fine, ok. I am out of here then.

Technically I just admitted that. What do you want? A redo?

Don't be so serious. It's still a game.
