I'll go for AS365 N2 Dauphin 2 (probably registered as G-NHAA, G-NHAB, or G-NHAC of the Great North Air Ambulance Service), as for where... No idea.

Well, they operate out of three bases, one at Langwathby and one at Durham, and I don't think Jim has been out to the great wilds of Langwathby so I'd go for the much closer Durham Tees Valley Airport.

Ah but as it's an air ambulance you may see it in many other places other than an airfield, unlike most other aircraft (on the ground!).

But, you are (probably) correct with Durham Tees. Found his thread here, and the pic is probably this one -
