Looks like the southern front is going pretty historically, I think you'd probably be better off retreating and consolidating, if he does manage to pocket your armies there you're going to lose a lot of forces in one swoop.
Of course, he might lack the strength to go through with the manoeuvre, but you also lack the strength to repel it properly. Since, though, this is the Soviet Union it probably wouldn't be that historical to let your forces retreat to a better line. Not one step back and all that. The other fronts look good though, particularly the center, that seems to be going much better than in history, from what I recall of Barbarossa. I'm not entirely surprised though, I still have nightmares from facing you in Western Russia/Eastern Poland...watching my lovely defensive line get shredded before the concrete was even dry. Be interesting to see how you can exploit the offensive into Romania, does WITE model the whole area as one long front or do you switch between individual fronts? If the forces in Romania do well enough they could turn north and threaten the German push to Kiev. Here's a comparison map that's dated around the time of this update: |
