Default OM crash may 1940

I usually have some SH4 crashes with OM enabled, when i restore saved games.

The loading screen comes ("Please wait"), and just when it disappears, CTD.

The problem is apparently in the save file. Not a great issue for me, i usually save on the basis of two files, and when one is corrupted, the second is generally OK.

But i have a new problem : I am currently in a patrol, using a saved game : Each saved game created later in the patrol will result in a crash when i try to restore it. And the crash is strange : It does not happen at the end of the loading, but at the very beginning. I click on "OK", in the load screen, and CTD.

I think it's my first save file of a size superior to 3 MB, is it related ?

The datas ;

U-40 - Type IX
2nd Flotilla
Last working save : 1940, april 27th
Any save after this one will crash, whereever i am on the map, with or without other ships in proximity, etc.
Mods activated :
OpsMonsun_v705
OMv705_to_v720
OMv720_Patch4
OMEGU_v300
OMEGU_v300_Patch6
Office Mod
Csengoi's EnemiesOfGermany

No need to say i tries de deactivate some mods (leaving only OM enabled, without OMEGU, for example) : No go.

Anyone already saw SH4 CTD at the beginning of loading a game ?

I've never seen a problem like this.

I experienced, or more precisely still experience, similar problems. For me the culprit turned out to be the combination of Ati's drivers+crossfire. If I disable and re-enable Crossfire prior to starting SH4 all saves load fine, if not it'll crash immediately after starting to load.

Thanks for answers.

My video card is a Nvidia GT-220... No ATI nor memory problem, i think...

Maybe driver related issue ?

What's puzzling me is the fact a corrupted saved game can corrupt subsequent saves...

[edit]

In fact, it's getting worse and worse... It seems even all saved games, even previous ones, present the problem... I didn't change anything on my system...

[edit 2]

It seems to be a video problem... And i wonder if it's not the picture loading when the game loads itself who crashes SH4.

I don't know the method, but the pictures seem not be always the same from period to period... Maybe one of them is corrupted...

Yeah if every savegame is crashing there's likely to be more involved than just the game and the mods. Maybe try fiddling with your video-settings via the NVidia control-panel? Disable/enable anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, vertical sync, etc... Sometimes the weirdest things can turn out to be the solution.

Probably a bot. Seems like there's a few of them in here that don't only post ads, but also respond to other posts with some gibberish. Reported.
