Just watched the hydro-hunting tutorials. Very well done.
I don't use 100% real navigation and I leave on hydrophone contact lines but this is still very useful for me. Thanks. One question...this mod that you reference "3)SH5.exe patch (hydro) v0.0.1 and v0.0.2", is this just the official game patch or the hydro fix that TDW came up with? |

Ok thanks. I guess I need to d/l a hex editor.
Another question I have... How is the sonarman getting a range when you ask him to "estimate range to target"? Wasn't that impossible in real life? I know they can guess if its long range, medium range or close range but to get an accurate range reading wouldn't you need active (pinging) sonar? Just trying to understand all the forces at work here. Thanks. |

By the way...you wouldn't happen to be Romanian would you? The accent in your videos sounds familiar to me. (I'm not Romanian but spent some time there years ago.) |

you can not... many of them are rewoked and few of them are only personal mods (mods from other people combined with other mods and made some changes and so on... only tdw mods are in the original version... most parts of others are reworked)
EDIT: Yes.. if you like the env and interface that you saw in my game i suggest you to use MO Last edited by stoianm; 03-21-11 at 09:21 AM. |
