Default HEEEEEELLLP with CTD's

Hi

I had been running SH4, v1.3 that I got from steam a few weeks back. That was going fine, although there were quite a few CTD's. The other day I decided to upgrade and get the 1.5 version in u-boat missions, so I could get some mods going.

I paid for and down loaded the new version, again via steam. The problem now is now it CTD everytime I leave the office. Tried it several time and it crashes before even going to the sub. (hope that makes sence)

Completely and totally unplayable and extremely frustrating.

I am contacting steam, but was wondering in the mean time if anyone else was had this happen and if there is an easy fix.

Thanks

Crashing when leaving the office sounds like the objective is not being found, corrupt file maybe.

the standard practice here is re-install I would say.

try this set up for OM/OMEGU/KIUB. It is working for me.

the install order for OM/OMEGU/Kiub that I use is as follows:

OpsMonsun705
OMv705_to_V720
OMv720_Patch5
OMEGU_300
OMEGU_v300_Patch7
OM_Plot_415 (this may be master file that contains subfiles with mods, and if I loaded the mods, the OM_Plot file will be empty. I did not check.)
OM_Med_Env (optional)
OM_Harder_Escort_12 (optional)
OMEGU_English (if you want English)
KIUB_Engish (if you want English)

I do not know if the KIUB mod is incorporated into the latest version of OMEGU, but I think it is, as I have it on my boat and I did not download a separate mod. You may be able to find some of these mods on the Subsim mods site.

For some reason someone deleted several threads from the ATO forum that have information on the above mods.

You're wasting your breath, guys!

But it's a good example of why you shouldn't post a problem in multiple threads.

Frank's problems were all solved by upgrading to v1.5.

At least I hope so...

Frank?

Fom the murkiest depths, the Kysterizer strikes,,,, yet again, just as the White Death breaking free of his watery bonds with unimaginable frothing fury, strikes from blue water, with vice-like, meat-cleaving jaws oozing gushing red blood cells, clamping down on his victims, wreaking death and destruction to man and beast alike, eviserating them as surely as the Holiday Turkey. Dinner anyone, as onlookers shriek, for a moment frozen in fear, and in horror fleeing in pandamonium? He is in the esturary, come the screams! Then he is gone.... Anyone want to go for a swim? It's almost dark out,,,,and there is no moon tonight.
