Hi all
I downloded all the OM mods(Ithink) om v705 - om v705 - v720 and the om 720 patch 2 copyed them into a mods folder copy across using JSGME but when I start the game its just a normal SH4 1.5 no change in menu and all looks the same.
Thanks if you can help

Hmm, you know, I don't think OM actually changes the menu. It's OMEGU that you need to add for that. Check what you see when you're starting a new German U-boat career - you should be able to tell pretty quickly whether it's OM or not.

If that's not it though, check your folder structure - where is your SHIV located and where is your Mods folder located? This is probably what the problem is.

Hi
When I ran JSGME it just created 3 new folders in the main game folder. I took a gamble and cut and pasted the folders Data and support from the 3 new folders and it looks as though it has worked. I am currently downloading the OMEGU to give that a go
Thanks
Bob

Ah yep, you must've installed JSGME into the wrong folder. Did you put it under the Ubisoft folder? It should actually be inside the SHIV folder, then it will install everything correctly. If you just copy the folders over, you can't roll back the install mods later and have to reinstall SHIV if you want to uninstall OM later.

I installed jsgme into the same folder as the SH4 exe, I thought this was the correct one. Not bothered about not being able to go back as I have the unmoded version in another folder.
Thanks
Bob
