Target Practice

What I need most is practice targeting - but I don't want to have to cruise for an hour just to get to a possible target and all the uncertainties that go with that, i.e. will i ever get to attack at all or be driven off by an escort?

I've considered getting a friend to crew a second uboat and meet me somewhere and we fire at each other but that would take too long as well.

It would be really useful for new captains if there was some sort of quick start practice range, i.e. you spawn in sight of a few ships, stationary and moving.
