What? Vindictive?
Maybe I should have used Spiteful instead.

What? you didn't get the cunning linguist thing?

I could go all 'Skybird' and explain it.
But I think most people will get the joke.

And if one were so inclined to waste hours?
They could search back and see WHO wasted posting about stuff that should have been in US Politics thread.

But go ahead and be self righteous and declare your disgusted.
I predict Skybird to call you out next.

He is my favorite Nut Case after myself!

Now here's the funny part.
Which one of you will fall for the bait first?

Very good read how Far UVC Light in public areas may dramatically reduce if not prevent the spread of viral infection.

We are decidedly losing the war against superbugs, with a projected annual death toll by 2050 of 10 million people every year, and I would like to stop that.

Yeah. I'm all for NOT getting exposed!
"Acute (short-term) effects include redness or ulceration of the skin. At high levels of exposure, these burns can be serious. ... The long-term risk for large cumulative exposure includes premature aging of the skin and skin cancer"
I'll deal with the Virus.
Don't you think this would have been implemented long ago to fight common things if it was safe?

I do believe you are grasping for straws in the face of polluted Sundeas.

You know what they say "necessity is the mother of invention". Its not talking about the tanning salon kinda UV light or the kind from the Sun that makes it through our atmosphere.

Quote:
Here we extended our previous studies to 222-nm light and tested the hypothesis that there exists a narrow wavelength window in the far-UVC region, from around 200–222 nm, which is significantly harmful to bacteria, but without damaging cells in tissues

Trust me, its safe.

A bombshell report by scientists from the University of Cambridge has cast doubt on previous beliefs about when and where Covid-19 first broke out.
While coronavirus was previously believed to have originated in a wet market in Wuhan December 1, new research suggests it may have actually came from further south – and began spreading among humans as early as September 2019.

These stay at home orders seem designed to prolong the virus. Don't colds and the flu go away once people are no longer cloistered together indoors by winter weather? They should be encouraging people to go outside as much as possible.
